SMS Service
You use the number '+45 4060 6361' to SEND  SMS requests for WX messages to our SMS Service system.
To make it easy to send requests, we recommend that you enter the WX Support SMS Service phone numbers in the phone book of your mobile phone.
Please enter the number '+45 4060 6361' and name the entry 'WXSUPPORT SMS'.
Now you can request MET messages by sending a SMS message to 'WXSUPPORT SMS'. The request is written by keying in a few letters followed by an ICAO or IATA code. Please do not make a space between the command and the ICAO/IATA code. Available commands are as follows:
Command Meaning Example
WM SA (METAR) WMEKBI or WMBLL
WT FC (TAF) WTEKBI or WTBLL
WL FT (LONG TAF) WLEKBI or WLBLL
WX SA, FT AND FC* WXEKBI or WXBLL
AI Airport information AIEKBI or AIBLL
WF FT (LONG TAF) or FC (TAF) as available WFEKBI or WFBLL
*WX WILL RETURN A MINIMUM OF 2 MESSAGES TO YOUR PHONE
(actual number of SMS messages required depends on the length of the 2 messages requested)
Receive weather automatically when available:
To have new WM, WT or WL information automatically sent to you when it becomes available, you can add a number from 2 to 9 (both included) immediately after the command line (i.e. no space).
For example you could send the command line WMEKBI9 to receive the current METAR for EKBI (Billund) followed by the next 8 METARs when available. Please note that the option is not available for the WX command.
Shortcuts:
If you just quickly want the current weather info, you can send ONLY the IATA or ICAO code. This will give you METAR and TAF/ long TAF. Example: Sending the string BLL or EKBI is the same as sending WXEKBI.
